I know...I'm expecting to be disappointed in it, so I'm going to wait until it comes to Pay-Per-View or CHEAP rent...

Yes you have asked that in several threads. I will answer. NO. Not yet at least. I was actually thinking about reading it but I haven't had time.

It is a very well known christian series of books. They are written by Tim La'Haye.

Honestly, I don't plan on reading them.
The Christian society is not for me.

I thought you were christian RR. I already told you I'm agnostic. It doesn't mean I don't believe in God, it just means I believe that there is no definitive way to tell whether he exists. I view over zealous Christians and Atheists on the same level. Though I do believe Christianity is a good thing because it has helped change the lives of people. Especially those who had previously led a poor life and its also changed the lives of convicts. I believe its the religions itself thats has helped these people. I believe what it was that made an impact on their lives is that it gave them something to believe. It gave them hope for themselves and for humanity whether its Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or even Buddhism (which is not technically a religion, by the way). Though is all honesty, I do not like organized religion. Anyways, this is SERIOUSLY off the topic. I apologize.

I guess I was probably the one who got us off topic. Any way I think will be reading a bunch of the books that are written about the Great Depression.

Non-fiction or fiction?

I think one of them is non-fiction and the other is fiction. The other book I have to read is still up in the air.

I am not really interested at the moment it is for my Pre-Ap english class. My parents are stupid and told me I couldn't read Of Mice and Men, so I have to do the alternative assignment which is ridiculously large compared to the in class crap everyone else is going to do. I would personally rather read about World War II. It is quite an interesting topic.

That blows; Of Mice and Men is an excellent book.
I don't see whats wrong with book that so many wish to ban it. The language in the book is basically limited to only some "damns" and "hells" laced with the rare "bastard". That is how the people actaully spoke. The author spent some time as a migration farmer to research for the book and to make to book as authentic as possible. The language isn't for shock value, its for authenticity.

I don't know. My parents are so stupid. I mean it isn't like I don't hear the f-word a million times a day at school.

I believe that if the christian philosophy is correct then I will be ready, but if it is not then I will have an understanding of what is by the events that take place within the world in the days to come. Do you understand what I mean?
