I was just wondering if anyone has seen this movie yet. I went to see it tonight. I thought it was an amazing movie, and was just wondering what everyone else thought.
Anyways, when I was sitting in the back of the theatre, I realized... A) I was the only person in the theatre by myself. B) I was the only person in the theatre under the age of 40.

I would like to find out what current and former members of the CIA think about the movie.

That would be very interesting!
What is the plot to the story?

It is about the beginnings of the CIA told through Edward WIlson (played by Matt Damon). I enjoyed how they told the story through flashbacks. It focuses on "The Bay of Pigs" incident in Cuba, and how Edward is trying to figure out who it is that tells of the area of U.S. invasion. He flashes back to his college Days (Yale) and how he joined the Skulls & Bones fraternity there, and that was what got him involved with the FBI initially He then continued to be a member of the CIA, working in England and Germany during WWII.

I saw it and.....I actually didn't care for it. Its pacing was horrible in my opinion. Story was alright, lot of it left open though. I mean when it came down to the plot was quite deep but as Rolling Stone said "its hard to slog through a movie that has no pulse". So yeah, pacing was my biggest complaint.

RR. I've heard that Pan's Labrynth is very good. I'm hoping to go see it tonight, if it's playing anywhere near me...

12... I'm not ignoring you.. I haven't been on since then... Its a fantasy flick... go to the rotten tomatoes page here: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/pans_labyrinth/RR. I've heard that Pan's Labrynth is very good. I'm hoping to go see it tonight, if it's playing anywhere near me... I heard its really good too. If its being shown out here, I'd be shocked if its not being shown somewhere around/in Chicago. 96% on rotten tomatoes and 6 Oscar noms can't hurt, can it ? If you do get to see it, let me know what you think... I'll probably see it either Saturday or Sunday. Guillermo Del Toro directed it... the guy who did Hellboy and The Devil's Backbone... both of which are good signs.

i liked hellboy it was rather entertaining Great movie, equally great source (the graphic novels by Mike Magnolia). del Toro is currently working on a sequel. He actually passed on the chance to direct the Halo movie so he could focus on the next Hellboy movie.
