So, what does everyone think about all of the press that the death of Anna Nicole Smith is getting?

Honestly, I'm getting kind of sick of seeing her face plastered everywhere.
Yes, its sad she died young... but what was her contribution to society?

She had no contribution.

Unless being a gold mining rich old men and exposing herself in Playboy counts.
At least in my book it doesn't.

@caserdonian What? No, no. I mean someone who's in a relationship just for the money. Why else would she had married a rich very man of his age? zarogI was saying that those don't count as contributions, but a few might.

I just think it is sad that the American people care more about celebrities than about their politicians, and the political problems that are going on in the world today.
All I have heard about the past few days has been the battle over Anna's body, her money, and her daughter...or else another story about Britney Spears and how she shaved her head. It is sad to think that the general public that is obsessed with these people are the ones electing officials into office. I say that it is time to require all voters to take an intelligence test, as well as a political aptitude test (encompassing state, local, national, and international politics) in order to be able to vote. Then we would have informed voters, not just people voting for who looks the best, whose name they like the best, or the person their best friend is voting for.

I agree with you, but I also get sick of people just going to the polls and doing one party voting. Honestly, I don't want to vote for just one party, I want to vote for who I believe who will make the biggest impact if elected; whoever will do a good job or continue to do a good job. On the topic of Britney Spears, she really needs to get her act together. Shaving her head is just a cry for media attention. She's got two kids, for christ sakes. Whats more important: your kids or your social/ media life?

Maybe I should find a better response...but we have gotten off the topic, if you were refering to my statement about trimspa, it is one of the commercials that she is famous for.

I know what Trimspa is, I was talking her being a gold miner (you were thinking of what her husband was rich for).
