So, I came across an article that posed the question of whether or not people are tired of seeing comic book characters adapted to the big screen, so I thought I would ask the same question here. I, personally, enjoy CBMs, but I think the fatigue factor will only set in if the majority of CBMs made are mediocre to bad. Currently, I've liked the last several that I have seen in theaters, but I'm skeptical that Hollywood can continue to churn out GOOD CBMs.

Funny thing, Firefly (the TV show) and Serenity (its movie squeal) have spawned a series of Comic books published by Dark Horse. It worked just the opposite to the trend. And yes, I'm a Browncoat.

As am I. I have a full size, original Serenity movie poster in my room. Whedon is doing the Avengers movie. Awesome awesome. As far as the question asked, I'm fine as long as they continue at this quality. If Marvel hadn't started making their own films, which then led to some quality CBMs, my answer might have been different.

Agreed. If the quality of CBMs stays up to par with Thor, Iron Man, Batman Begins, and Spider-Man (these are those that I would classify as really good) then I don't mind, but if the typical movie that is being churned out turns into stuff like X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Blade: Trinity, or Elektra, then I would be sorely disappointed and would probably no longer see any CBMs in theaters.
