Yea, when the movie first came out my dad kept talking about how people wanted Firefly back, and they made a movie. At first I had no idea what Firefly was, but mid-way through the movie I remembered the show, and the plot made a little more sense.
Yes, Mel Brooks is funny.
I have Holy Grail and Meaning of Life, and I've seen part of Life of Brian (the first half). I also love the Monty Python T.V. show.

I think only 4 of the 13 episode aired because FOX played the episodes out of order and didn't support it very well. Unfortunetly, he hasn't done much as of late. You need to see the Ending of the Life of Brian, its classic. (Yeah for having three conversations at once!)

I didn't really watch the show, my dad did and I glanced over time to time Mel Brooks did some really great movies, and now he's just old... As soon as I can get my hands on a copy I'll watch it. (Yay for multi-tasking!)

What? No North By Northwest or Notorious? Do you know how the Paramount came up with his screen name? (He was born as Archibald Leach).

I've honestly never seen it. Maybe I'll rent it next time I run by Blockbuster. The only real competition for movie rentals near where I live.

I've seen "To Catch A Thief".
But I haven't seen The Pride and The Passion or Destination Tokyo. How well do they hold up compared to his other films?

PPPpppuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! 9As well as his others. Hitchcock liked to use him almost as much as James Stewart. His first major role was opposite Mae West in She Done Him Wrong I believe...am taking film history in school.)

I'm also taking a History of Film class, but I'm taking it next Semester.
I used to have the notion that I could make films, so I tried to make movies with a cheap little digital camera. The thing was that I was always (and still am) overly ambitious (and with no budget, nothing works out the way you want it to).

Haha, there is nothing better than getting bored and driving around the suburbs and city to see the locations where they shot those movies. My dad always says, "Oh! I've been there!" and "That's where so-and-so did such-and-such!" My dad was born in Chitown. Any old comedy team movies (Abbot & Costello, Ritzs Brothers, etc.) Fahrenheit 451 (I watched that last night, and it's really great) Goodbye Lenin!

I've only seen bits and pieces of Fahrenheit 451. I remember hearing about Goodbye Lenin! and how its concept sounded quite interesting. Though I have yet to see it.

I haven't seen Fahrenheit 451 in forever. I was not a big fan of the book, nor the movie, as I am a bibliophile. When we started reading it in class, forever ago, I went up to the teacher and asked if I really had to read it, because I could not believe that they were burning the books. Haha.
