I suppose, Philip K. Dick deals more with psychology, but many of his stories are infused with politics. Though he must of been good enough to have one of the most prestigous Sci-Fi Awards named in his honor.

In school (a while ago) we did some scenes from Shakspeare. I also had to do 2, 3 Shakespearean monologues. We did a scene from R & J, Midsummer's Night Dream, and (all of) The Tempest. Maybe some others...

We did a bit of Hamlet in school years ago before I knew which characters lived and died. I picked the part of Horatio and was pretty proud of myself since I was the only main character to survive. ;D

I would have to say that one of my favorite movies of all time is M. Night Shymalans movie "Signs." I dont know if anyone else likes this but I would have to say that I was obsessed with it a couple years back.

That was an amazing movie. I have to say, his films since have let me down..."The Village" reminded me of a book I once read, where {PLOT SPOILER} the people were living in a museum, where it was the pioneer days, and they had to send a girl out for medicine...can we say M. Night Shamalyan stole the premise of the book for his movie? I just wish I could remember the name of the book, or the author...

The Village is better if you don't expect it to be a thriller.
I thought "The Village" was going to be a thriller walking in(as the commercials portrayed it to be) the theater and left diasapointed. The second time through was more enjoyable.

I would have to say that the Village was alright, but it wasnt what the commercials made it out to be which was really dissapointing.

Yeah, it was still pretty disapointing nonetheless, though it wasn't as bad as critics made it out to be.

I agree with that. IT was one of those movies where they show the best parts in the trailers and commercials for it...so you're left with high hopes and a not that good movie.
