Possibly but he was up against an equal so we don't know that for sure. (I am playing devil's advocate, but I do agree with you.) Whatever, just try not to do it so much. Dont do it so much because I think you guys are getting insecure about flame wars. Yes I do start a flame war from time to time, but now it is just getting out of hand. Because people should have the right to express their opinions, just as long as it does not get too out of check. We're not being insecure, we are just getting absolutely sick of flame wars. It's more often than "from time to time". Also, sometimes you guys almost seem incapable of expressing an opinion w/o starting a flame war.

Which I believe is near impossible to do. Especially not when we have heated debators like myself and Zarog.

I'm not going to lie...I don't post nearly as often as I would, just because I am sick and tired of reading everyone's blasting each other. These flame wars are getting to be ridiculous. Almost every time I sign on here, I'm deleting posts. I don't want to be doing that, and neither does RR.

As long as everybody does the same, including Zarog.

Fine, I will calm down. But I am telling you now that I am going to try but it will be difficult. It shouldn't be. If you get angry, don't say anything. Leave it how it is, its only going to lead to flame war and a deletion.

Yes lets get back to strategy.
What about Genghis Khan and the Mongols
As a counterpoint to European developments in the strategic art, the Mongol Emperor Genghis Khan provides a useful example. Genghis' successes, and those of his successors, were based upon manœuver and terror. The point of Genghis' strategic assault was nothing less than the psychology of the opposing population. By a steady and meticulous implementation of this strategy, Genghis and his descendants were able to conquer most of Eurasia.

Genghis Khan was a brilliant commander for his age, he also had one of the biggest empires in the world. Measured in sq milies.

Yes but it was not tied together under a strong government. That was what his problem was.

Though, just like Attila the Hun, his empire did not expand after his death and it eventually dwindled.

Genghis Khan's empire actually expanded after his death. Because Tamerlane took power and started a campaign against the Persian empire.
